ABOUT

The Ridgewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps (RVAC) is a New York State Department of Health-Bureau of Emergency Medical Services certified, Basic Life Support (BLS) volunteer ambulance service. RVAC has been in operation since September of 1975 and currently serves the communities of Ridgewood, Wyckoff Heights, Bushwick, Middle Village, Maspeth, Glendale, Sunnyside, Woodside, Long Island City, Woodhaven, and Richmond Hill. In addition to providing community based emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, RVAC also provides stand-by and emergency medical response at local events, street fairs, and sporting events within the community.
