The Ridgewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps (RVAC) is a New York State Department of Health-Bureau of Emergency Medical Services certified, Basic Life Support (BLS) volunteer ambulance service. RVAC has been in operation since September of 1975 and currently serves the communities of RidgewoodMaspethBushwick & Wyckoff Heights. In addition to providing community based emergency and non-emergency ambulance services, RVAC also provides stand-by and emergency medical response at local events, street fairs, and sporting events within the community.
