Service Area

RVAC/MVVAC/GVAC Combined Map (Updated July, 2019).

The Ridgewood Volunteer Corps has very large response area - one of the largest of all New York City Volunteer Ambulance agencies. RVAC covers multiple boroughs (Queens and Brooklyn), thus making our ambulance tours very busy. We respond to an average of 100 calls per month, which makes us one of the most active volunteer ambulance agencies in the city.

We serve the neighborhoods of Ridgewood, Bushwick and Wyckoff Heights including Maspeth. We do our best to respond to all areas equally, however more neighborhoods of our service area have higher call volumes than others, due to population density.

Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and Woodhull Medical Center are our two primary hospitals, however patients may choose to be transported to any hospital of their choice for non-emergency transports, which differentiates us from most 9-1-1 agencies.

Please note that the map provided is only an estimation of the PAR covered by RVAC.
